120gb + recomended hdds?

im looking for a fast and sielent (sielent is more important) ned hdd which one would ya recoment? iv chked the homepages and thay all say they pretty much sound the same but really which one is more quiet?

There's only 1 HD over 120GB unless you wanta dump a grand on a scsi drive...

i think seagate barracuda VI and maxtor d740x is the most silent drives for 7200 rpm but seagate is better, but i am not sure if seagate has drive @ 120gb, but i think maxtor has.

as another buddy suggested, go to www.storagereview.com and then choose database then you can sort the results of the hard disks

Maxtor has a D540X series of hard drive that offer 160GB. The only other mfg. that has topped that is Seagate with a 180GB SCSI hard drive.
