When my pc is plugged into the extension cord, I can power it on perfectly fine and it shows the loading screen that I see every time I boot the pc up. But it doesn't complete the booting. What I mean by that is that when it works, my second monitor has the loading screen, then both monitors go black (without saying no signal), then it comes back on and the login screen is on my primary monitor. When it doesn't work it shows the loading screen, then both screens go black (primary monitor doesn't have anything that says no signal) and the 2nd monitor turns the screen on and says "no signal," then I have to hold down the power button and cycle it. This happens occasionally with the power strip I use regularly and happens every time I tried the extension cord this morning. I don't think it is something like the extension cable isn't providing power to the pc since it still turns on. I don't know if it is something like it doesn't produce enough power, which kinda doesn't make sense because the extension cord is plugged into the outlet that I used to use for my computer.
