Question 12v RGB Mobo pins, LED light strip compatibility

My MSI B650 board has 3A 12v RGB headers (as well as 5v ARGB gen 2 headers).


Can anyone confirm that the 12v RGB header is compatible with regular 12v RGB 5050 strip lights (the ones sold in 3-50 ft rolls marketed for home lighting ) ie are the 12v RGB strip lights sold for computers lighting any different than the ones for home lighting?


(They are all 12v SMD 5050, 16ft rolls run on 2amp psu's, I assume it's safe to plug into the Mobo but would feel better if someone else can say for sure that it won't damage the board)

if these LED strips use the same 4pin RGB connection, then they are fine.
