Hello everyone,
I've got this setup:

CPU: Intel Core i5-13600K 3.5 GHz 14-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black 82.52 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE AX ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston FURY Beast 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5200 CL40 Memory
Storage: Kingston NV2 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Storage: Kingston KC3000 1.024 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Zotac GAMING Twin Edge OC GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB Video Card
Case: Lian Li O11 Air Mini ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

Mainly use is gaming.
Here is my question.
At some point the card will be a RTX 3080 or 4070.
And for some reason because i like just to see it as spec. I want to swap to an I7-13700 (I dont care if its K or not)
But now the temps and the noise level of this machine are perfect.
I have the feeling even tho i am not an editor to push the CPU at the limit that the i7 will hit red temps. And i dont want to undervolt it or have it at the whole time running my D15 high.

Is there anyone here with 13700 + D15 to tell me how its running ? Cause i cant find any proper article.

Peace.

Get the K otherwise that Z series chipset motherboard is a moot investment.

You need to understand that noise is a subjective topic, one person might think a setup is silent while another person can come along and complain about hearing the ticking of the motor in a fan, inspite of it being made by Noctua.

That being said;

You're going to be fine.
