So I do understand that 1440p would be more visually appealing, but here is my question!
Would playing 1080p on ultra settings look better than playing 1440p on (medium-high)-high settings?
For example, I have a evga ssc GTX 970 and I decide to play BF4. I have two options, play max settings on the 1080p, or lower some settings and play on 1440p only because it still looks better. ***(If I am suffering performance loss)
With your thoughts and experiences, it will help me decide whether to purchase a 1440p capable monitor, or stick with the 1080p option.
Also since I am a complete noob when it comes to these newer monitors...does a 1440p monitor also give the option to play under the 1900x1080 resolution? ( unsure if it is a 16:10 aspect ratio) If so that would be nice.
Even if my GPU can not handle all games at max settings under 1440p, I will make use of it by replaying some older games.
THANK you for you time and responses!
