Hello,

does anybody know whether there is a display that has the following technical specifications:
-32 inch
-IPS or VA
-144Hz
-1440p (WQHD) resolution
-G-Sync Technology

As far as I know there is no display thats supports all of those specs except as an example the Asus ROG Strix XG32VQ but it has the Freesync technology and not the G-Sync.

Any advise?

Plenty of 34" 120Hz displays, why does it need to be 144hz and 32"?

Though that 120hz is probably an overclock from 100hz native panels.

31.5" (32" class) is a common size for normal QHD panels (though a little large for the resolution if you ask me)

Well I am currently planning buying a new monitor after September and I am looking for some and gaining infos to decide on which one I want. I am not sure myself what I really want though but WQHD 144Hz and an IPS or VA panel technology are the most important specifications I want. G-Sync is more like necessary since with that kind of resolution I might lose some frames in a high demanding game so I want to keep my exprience with the new monitor as smooth as possible.

So why 32 inch you ask? Well I decided to either get the ASUS ROG PG279Q or something else if I found a btter one. I could go for th Acer Predator XB271HU but I rad pople's reviews that overall the ASUS has a better imagee quality. But I am still watching out for new monitors and I thought taking a look into 32 inch monitors would change my mind however you do not recommend me buying such big monitors on a 1440p resolution?

If you're going to go 32 inches, you should also check out 3440x1440p ultrawide panels. How much are you willing to spend and please list your current computers hardware specifications.

i5-8500
GTX 1660Ti
8GB 3000mhz Corsair Vengeance (will upgrade somwhere after Septembr aswell)
Z390 Gigabyte AORUS Master

My maximum budget for my new monitor is 750 Euros.
I am not sure with Ultrawides though since some of the gams don't provide support for them (but that is not the main issue) and the fact that is so wide and takes much space bugs me, since I maybe wanted to have a dual monitor setup rather than just one and besides that personally I think gaming on a non Ultrawide monitor would be better. However I said that "I am still watching out for new monitors" so I could probably givee Ultrawides a try.

My recommendation is a 1080p 144hz VA panel. The VA panel will give you darker blacks and better response time and going with 1080p will ensure that i5 8600 and gtx 1660ti can match fps with your monitors 144hz refresh rate for multiple years before an upgrade is necessary. As for gsync or freesync, I would opt to go freesync if the price is better.

1. But isn't G-Sync actually better since it's technology and the fact that I have an nvidia Graphics Card will work better as with an Freesync monitor?

2. When turning the settings down in games will I still be able to achieve those 144 FPS? I am really addicted on getting this better looking resolution monitor than the one that I have right now.

Both Gsync and Freesync are supported by nvidia. What monitor do you have now?
So basically a Freesync monitor will perform as good as a G-Sync monitor in terms of eliminating tearing and stuttering ingame?

Currently I cannot tell you which monitor I have since I'm in vacation right now. I ony know it starts like Samsung S22D... which is an 60Hz overcklockable upto 75Hz 1080p VA monitor. An it has no G-Sync nor Freesync.

I would just keep what you have, because going higher resolution is going result in having to upgrade your new graphics card. Unless you play esports titles, triple A titles are going to hammer that grpahics card at higher than 1080p resolutions.
That's the point. My only high demanding game that I'm playing is Planetside 2. All other games (Dota 2, Natural Selection 2. Minecraft, Dead by Daylight) aren't that much demanding for my Graphics Card so it will have some space for a 1440p monitor. However I will still take your advise since triple A games do need a stronger card to run 144 FPS on 1440p resolution.

Thans for your advise.

Having an ultrawide, Samsung C34F791, I can tell you it is quite nice. You have the usability of dual monitors but it takes up less space. Gaming on it is amazing as the wider field of view is quite nice. If the game doesn't support the aspect ratio you can always run the game at 2560x1440.

You could always go for the monitor I have: Dell: DES2417DG
It doesn't have that many inches, but it's honestly big enough.
It's:
1440p / 2560 x 1440
Up to 165 Hz Overclock - 144Hz without OC
23,8 inches though
GSync
But it's also TN panel.

But, freesync still works with Nvidia cards I'm pretty sure?
