[SOLVED] 1440p at 144hz - can my machine run it?

Hi All,

This is my current spec:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600x
16GB DDR 4
Nvidia GTX 1070

Do you think it's a good starting point to purchase a 1440p 144hz monitor?

I've done a bit of research and it looks like it might be good for some competitive games, but might struggle on most AAA games?

What do you think?

I think the same way as you...
Esports should be fine but 3ple A it's not gonna be possible (1440p) at 100+ frames at high, very high settigns....
Also depending on the game, the CPU will underperform in some games...
Even 2080 Super is struggling in some titles at 1440p above 100+ fps
