Just got a KTC H27T22 but I can't seem to get it to work properly on my PS5.

All settings look fine, the monitor is in 1440p and 120Hz, PS5 recognizes it, but the image is never sharp, it is blurry. It looks like it is upscaled or downscaled. I have better picture quality using a 1080p monitor than this one.

The firmware version is: H27T22 / EUR-1.0.1

Any idea on how to solve it? I can't even find a webpage to download any possible firmware update...

If it continues like this I'll have to return the monitor...

Thank you.

It was on automatic, but it was on 1440p.
I can manually force it to be on 1440p, which I already did, but that didn't change anything.

try connecting this display to your computer and see how it then looks @ 1440p.

if still "blurry" as you describe, then it's just a low quality display with bad picture quality.

if clear as it should be, then you have an issue with the PS5 communicating with the display.

Everything looks good on the pc…

if it's the same cable/type of cable in both scenarios then the same amount of bandwidth would be available for the same picture settings.

if the console and the display are both set to 1440p there must be something with the PS5 that is causing a "downgrade" of the image.

i'd probably contact Sony support directly and/or visit their own PS5 forums and see if there's some special setting you may be missing or something else they have to fix such a problem.

I've seen this as well on decent midrange Dell displays that are about a year old. I'm not sure Sony's QHD support is fully baked. That or there is a setting we are missing, I never figured it out, and it was during a camping trip (Don't ask why there was a PS5 involved, I'm still not sure myself...) so I can't say I put too much effort into troubleshooting.

Done that already, thank you.

Well, I'm not sure. Have you perused Sony forums or anything? 1440p or QHD is a mainstream resolution here in PCland but on Consoleland maybe not so much. Perhaps the experts over there may have more insight.
yes, I wrote in a few forums... nothing so far.
Just did some troubleshooting again, and popped up into a game, and the image is worse than on my 1080p monitor... :/
