I've always ran graphics cards on max performance for many many years. I believe letting them power save is what leads them to premature death, but that's just me, have never had issues. This is with GTX 770, 780, 1070, 1080Ti, 3060Ti and 3080Ti.

Your OS drive could be another hindrance. It's recommended to have minimum 20% free space for SSDs to perform at it's best but if pagefile is eating into that that could be an issue. Should grab a Samsung 970 evo plus 2tb Nvme drive while sales are on.

try running your ram manually

1.35v
2933 if that fails go to 2900 it should work at that.
16 - 18 - 18 - 36 timmings

make sure you ram is in slots 2 and 4

also note that power supply isnt really a 500w psu its a 450w psu unless its v2 also there put quiet cheaply together.

it would explain the house tripping the power cause the psu is tripping the circuit.
or it could be the reverse and the wall plug isnt socketed properly
you can buy a socket tester to see if its wired right.

other way to test if its the socket take it to another room and plug it into a diffrent rooms socket.

i would invest in a new psu 650w gold at least either seasonic or corsair.
about the psu i still have the 650w thermaltake berlin, the power tripping didnt happen on this 500w one, it happened on that one, but after that it worked fine, same as this one

Cpu temps are fine.

Rule of thumb regarding power supplies is if it doesn't come with minimum 7yr warranty then stay away from it. 1~3yrs don't touch with a 20ft pole.

Black Friday / Cyber Monday mission for you; Samsung 970 evo plus 2tb Nvme and Corsair Rm650x.

thermaltake berlin where god awful psus i believe there related to the smart series and are a fire hazard not suprised it couldnt take the load well. those psu where duel rail psu meaning power came from 2 12v rails at 320w to get that magic number

with psu you really need to research them a cheap psu is a quick way to kill your system

i tried different outlet, same result, are you guys sure its the psu and the ssd? ssd i should probably upgrade regardless, but i really want to be sure before i spend any more money. btw the guarantee on my psu is 5 years, could it be the motherboard? ram? i'm not an expert, but can i be sure it is something without replacing more stuff? thanks for the help. also something weird i noticed the boot menu loading screen when i switched the psu cable the loading screen was much more smooth, the dots completed before i got into desktop, before the little loading dots always kind of stuttered before i got into desktop, but thats about it from the improvement of trying that psu cable, should i get any specific type of cables to just rule those out? or is it impossible for that to be an issue, also maybe dp cable, which one should i get to be sure its not the cable, thanks again, appreciate it.

i saw a thread with similar problem recommending to run latency mon in background while playing the game and wait for the hard drops to happen, this is what i got, only ran latency mon and the game View: https://imgur.com/ToJv01j

i just took out my cmos battery, waited 20min, put it back in, now my windows is acting weird, sometimes doesnt wanna exit out of applications, pressing shutdown button does nothing, etc, just acting realllly weird, didnt change my windows at all btw.

something really weird is going on i tested only one ram stick slot 2 default bios and i got so much lower fps and hz, but the input lag was a million times better than before, the desktop and game stutters were still there, gonna test other stick in slot 2 now, im posting this so if anyone ever has these weird problems to not give up, to have some help because there is very little on this type of problems.

Here after trying almost everything possible, i am very very confused, i swapped my cpu, now it's ryzen 5 5600, tried out another ram, got a new ssd lexar nq100 240gb, because on passmark it said my ssd was faulty, so basically so far from the moment i built my pc 3 years ago i had this issue where my mouse would freeze on booting my windows, and in games at random moments my game would freeze, so it would drop from 300-400fps to 40-80, those 1% lows are really killing me, and they are also not normal, because my pc literally freezes, feels like it drops to 0, not to 80, because it becomes really unresponsive for that second, not at all like 80fps, my 144hz issue was fixed with the ssd change tho, so am i losing my mind or what is going on, i want to sell this pc and buy a new one but then i would lose so much money and get much worse components for the money i have right now, i literally switched so far, my psu, cpu, tried ram, tried another motherboard, graphics card, what could be the issue?, any ideas, i even tried to unplug all case fans and front panel hd audio, usb, and power buttons, started it with a screwdriver cus i literally ran out of all ideas, what else can i even do?

also i have my gpu settings kinda tweaked, llike prefer maximum performance, power etc, do those affect? if so what should i try them on

Hello, which game you play when you have this issue?
Fast movement will affect fps a lot more than steady movement, also depending on the system's performance.

What did the shop say about the problem? What it might be?

Reread your OP. Does the computer come back working great after been to the shop where a clean os install was done?
In the shop after switching the motherboard and new ram, not clean instalilng, i tried it out there and the issue is still there. I am going to get an m.2 right now since it always boots into windows very weirdly, sometimes i get 2 loading screens, sometimes one, sometimes the loading screen looks very buggy, sometimes not, thats my last idea, after that really idk.

Just got corsair m.2 220gb, the drops improved as in they're not nearly as extreme right now, they used to really freeze, drop to like 30-50fps now its like 70-80

happens in every game, under high, and low load, and on booting in windows my mouse freezes.

Ok, thanks.

Can you run softwares CPU-Z, GPU-Z, HWMONITOR and take a couple of screenshots on desktop so I can see what is the current state and with what specs.

By the way, I'm not sure now but you didn't do a clean install of Windows after swapping components?

Have you checked that every power supply cord is correctly placed and fully connected, especially any CPU/GPU related and motherboard.

No i did not do a clean install after swapping, tomorrow i am going to try to diagnose the problem again, my friend is coming over with a pc with parts compatible with mine, i am going to test out everything, any advice on what should i try first to be as time efficient as possible, but also to be safe and thorough, what should i start with, after which parts to reinstall windows, etc.
