Question 144hz monitor connected to dp cable cant run 144hz

Hello,

I have a Dell S2419HGF that supports 144hz but when I go to the display settings on PC it only shows 120 hz.

I have an Intel i5-9400f Coffee Lake with GTX 1660 6GB and my Operating System is Windows 10 Pro

When I go to NVIDIA Control Panel I can set my custom resolution at 144 hz but when I go into a game(for example:GTA V) I can only select 120 hz

It is really annoying and I don't know why,I searched so much and I can't find any solution.

Did you buy it new? Contact the seller. Did you buy it 2nd hand? Contact the seller.

Still, you should be able to overclock it without problems from what I read.
