Looking at a titan black edition or a 7990 or two 290s or whatever eles fits the bill i run three 1920 x1080 monitors and want to max out Any game i throw at it what are your thoughts or suggestion

Solution
Get dual GTX780 OC's. Honestly, that'll be your best bang for your buck. And, they're beastly cards. The GTX780 TI is almost the exact same architectural structure as the GTX780, just higher clock speeds. So get the dua 780's and OC the shit out of them, otherwise it just isn't worth it.

Cheers!

Nvidia: Two 780ti's, 780's or even two 770's will run suffice. Don't waste your money on a titan.
AMD: 7990 is an impressive card, but not cost effective and hard to keep cool. Two r9 290x much better.

all in all ~$1400 either way.

Id like to stay at 4gigs or more memorie

if you REALLY need 4gb of VRAM i would say get 2x R9 290 that way you save a few bucks but sticking
two of them next to each other will run VERY hot you would need to water cool them...also these cards have not
much headroom for overclocking so bear that in mind...otherwise if 3gb. can make it for you i would get 2x GTX 780
these cards runs much cooler and are okay to stack on top of each other with factory air cooler...and they got plenty
of headroom for overclocking most cards run stable at 1300mhz or so...also SLI scalling is better than crossfire in frame latency
and compatibility...

I would go with two 780's or 780 Ti's. The 290's do better at 4K,since they can push more pixels, but for gaming at 1080p the 780's are better at filling textures and whatnot. It's also nice that they take less power and don't get so damn hot. The 780's are excellent in every aspect.

Crossfire and SLI will not give you twice the ram, the memory on the card does not add-up
because both cards need to hold the entire information in order to process the frames, so the content
on the cards is mirrored...so if you put 2 card with 3gb each you still just get 3gb usable VRAM...

That is the reason why they came with a 6gb titan...

at the end of the day i thin you would need 2x titans to be happy on the nvidia side
but it does not fit in your budget of 1500$, or you jump the fence and go AMD they have
4gb. cards for a good price you could fit 2x r9 290 in your budget but you need to fit
somthing to water cool them...also corssfire does wierd things and is not supported well
in many games so you might end up playing some titles on only 1 card...wich sucks...
so if i where you i would get eiter 2x GTX 780 and maybe lower the textures settings a bit
if some games uses more than 3gb, or just get a 780ti and save some money and reduce the
graphics settings if needed to stay at around 60fps...the choice is yours.

titanfall is based on the old source engine and the texture at max settings are completely uncompressed this is why
they take so much VRAM but believe me there are NO difference when on HIGH setting, they looks ugly no matter
what so do not upgrade your computer for titanfail it is not worh it...and no 2x r9 280x DOES NOT make you 6gb of VRAM...as i mentionned earlier vram DOES NOT ADD UP in SLI or CROSSFIRE configuration...

This is a common misconception. The Titan Black is NOT a Titan with 6GB of VRAM, it's a 780Ti.

@OP I suggest you wait for a 790.
You'll get 10GB of memory(5GB/GPU) and that card is 2 780's SLI-d together, with less power usage than a dual-780 SLI setup.
You'll effectively have the fastest card in the world.

I went with two 780 and if I'm not happy il swap in something eles later thanks guys And msi makes a single r280x with 6gigs of ram check it out its on newegg anyways thanks alot guys i was set on two 290 but this will be my first go around with nvidia hope it goes as well as the 270x one quick question how do you set up three monitors on nvidia cards is it as simple as using ccc with the r9 series

The 780Ti also has more cores than the 780.

Paypal is being dumb order didnt go through when does it come out

who's talking about titan black? the original titan is also 6gb...the titan original as 1smx unit disabled and the titan black is a fully enabled gk110 like the 780ti

this is speculation it's not annouced at the moment it might still never exist

yeah i know but you picked my comment...anyway ! 😉

Probably, but it's a while since the 690 was launched, and NVIDIA always keeps a dual GPU card on the top of the list for the uber-enthusiast users.
