So I have been having an issue that has been randomly occuring for the past year and a half where my 15 amp breaker will trip in the room where my computer is in (could be 30 minutes after i start up my computer or it could be 6 hours). At first I marked it up to the AFCI that is in the panel, but I got curious today and slapped an amp clamp on my power strip and was shocked to see that under load my computer is drawing 35 amps. At idle the strip is pulling 10-12 amps. I get that overloading a power strip is bad, but I cant get any over my computer components on to another circuit, just a different plug on the same circuit. When I take my computer down to a keyboard monitor and mouse it still loads up to 32 amps in video games. Would a UPS curb this or a new power supply? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
