16 gig ram with asus v form z code 50

Hi guys. I felt it was time to upgrade a few things in my machine including ram. Ive got an asus v form z with AMD 8350. I bought 16GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-12800 RipjawsZ Series for Intel X79 (7-8-8-24) Quad Channel kit 4x4GB https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0076LKS94/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_grzyzb1R2DCTK - i could have sworn someone with the same setup got it working just fine even though it says its for intel... I tried taking the cmos batt out for about 3 min and tried two different sticks in the A2 slot.. anything i missed? Any ideas? Thanks!

Seems the naming convention on Amazon might be a little off.

This looks like the exact same ram and it days its compatible with my mother board.

Do i need to flash my bios to the latest?

Update.... I put the old ram in.. 1 stick in A2 slot and still kept getting code 50... I decided to put all three sticks in (2gbx3) and its running again but only sees 2 gigs of ram?

Ok guys everything seems to be in order now... I updated my bios and made sure the 16 gigs were seated nice and snug. It looks like im good to go!
