My new 4070TI came with a 16 pin to 2 x 6+2 pin adapter.
My PCPartPicker build came with this warning:
The video card PCIe 16-pin power connector adapter is being supplied by three 6+2-pin power connectors. Please ensure that the three 6+2-pin power connectors are not daisy-chained and do not share the same power cable.

Will I be okay using the adapter that came with the card or should I be seeking out a 16 pin to 3 x 6+2 pin adapter?

There is no need.

But pcpp warning is essentially this:

Meaning that you use dedicated cables to connect both 6/8-pin cables, rather than one cable that forks out into another 6/8-pin.

Yup as long as you don't daisy chain them like the above example on the right pic you're fine . Just make sure its fully seated and if your case side panel glass makes the cable bend too much just get a vertical mount. A 2.5 inch gap between the glass and connector should be fine. Don't crush the cable against the glass.
