My system is this:
  • Ryzen 5 2600
  • 2x8gb 3200mhz Corsair vengeance rgb pro ram
  • Corsair RM650 psu
  • B450 gaming pro carbon ac
  • msi 1660 ti gaming x

Situation :
I turned off my pc using the pwer button on the case, and then after it was off i switched the power supply button. Three days later i switched it back on, mind you ive only had the pc since january 5th!, and the pc booted, the gpu fans spinned and the rgb on the gpu was working but there was no signal, I have so far changed the hdmi cable, power supply cable, pci e slot on mobo and thats kind of it. I notice that when i boot the pc, the gpu fans spin for 10 seconds then stop, and then after a minute or so they go again and stop but then they stop completely, they dont try again. This happens every time and im very scared because i most definitely cannot afford to buy a new gpu and i really need to fix it so any help is appreciated!

If there was a power surge somehow, what would that mean? Do you think if that was the issue that the GPU or the dead part is salvageable in any way? Thanks again.
Well, if there was, it could have caused the PSU to short or something. But it may not necessarily fry other components. And we are just speculating at the moment, without fully knowing all the details.

You could bring the PC to a local repair store. Ask them to swap out the PSU and see if it boots. They will only charge a minimal fee, maybe $20. It's the only real way to diagnose. Swap out parts or try your current parts in another PC. do you have a friend who could help, with testing your GPU, or lending you a PSU.
I don't think there were although I can't be sure. Everything lights up, including motherboard lights, ram, and case fans. The cpu cooler fans also spin and I'm assuming therefore that everything is working but I am really not sure. I was thinking if it was best to get it checked out by some retailer or something. I don't know. If you have any idea of how I could check manually it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the reply as well!

I guess, it's possible the PSU is dead. But the RM from Corsair are pretty damn good. It could also be the mobo, or even your CPU. Were there any power surges/storms during the period the PC was off?

Does your CPU have integrated graphics? If so, try removing the 1660 ti and connect the display cable to the appropriate motherboard display connector. If it works the issue is either the 1660 ti or the PSU not giving it enough power.

Edit:

Never mind, I just noticed the 2600 doesn't have integrated graphics. Sorry about that.

No the cpu is a 2600 as I mentioned so no integrated graphics. I wish I had one but I didn't deem it necessary with a discrete gpu. Sorry about that thanks for the help!

Sorry about that I forgot to update. I was desperate and thought to myself: what's the easiest thing to check?? The RAM!I took all sticks out and placed one back in and it worked. I then placed the rest and turns out they all work I just had to reseat them. So much fuss and sadness over nothing but hey it works now!!!
