Hello, I am running a F2A85-V Pro Motherboard and using F3-12800CL9-16GBRL Ram cards. I noticed that the computer was only reading 16GB so I thought it was only reading one of my cards. However I individually placed each card in the primary ram slot and each showed up as 4GB. Any advice on how to correct this? Or is it possible the slot is burnt?

Also my CPU is AMD A10-6800K

Solution
is your ram on the qvl list for accepted ram sizes?

4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR3 1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
Support AMD Memory Profile (AMP) memory
* The Max. 64GB memory capacity can be supported with DIMMs of 16GB (or above). ASUS will update QVL once the DIMMs are available on the market.
* Refer to www.asus.com or user manual for the Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists).
* Due to OS limitation, when installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows® 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Install a 64-bit Windows® OS when you want to install 4GB or more memory on the motherboard.
is it like this,
you put 1 stick per boot and each shows 4GB, but you put all 4stick and shows only 4GB?
you might be using 32-bit Windows
due to 32-bit Windows restriction (or whatever it is), RAM memory is up to 4GB only,
to get higher memory reading, you need to install 64-bit version of Windows

it looks like its not. I looked at all the lists I could find and I didn't see mine on the list. I'm guessing this is most likely what is causing my issue

g.Skill is listed but not my specific card

not all memory listed on qvl, i uses RAM without checking qvl list first even tho their not on qvl list

ya theres not much you can do but wait till the next qvl update. obviously your not gonna wait a year. just get a cheap 8gb.

right right,,,
