Best you will likely be able to do is DDR4 2933, which you may have to tweak manually if you get DDR3 3000 or 3200. Not a big deal though, unless you just don't want to spend the time to mess with dRAM settings in BIOS.

Well, you can get extra cheap value RAM that isn't all that bad, but has a sticker for looks instead of actual heat-spreaders.
Memory: G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Or, you can get some really good quality RAM with good heat spreaders that is built-to-last.
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($62.64 @ Amazon)
Or choose a DDR4 3200 kit that is within your price range. Some people can run them on 1st-gen Ryzen, other people can only go up to 2933.
