Mostly not really green if they're in jump suits.
For D-Day they wore jumps suits which varied in colour.
Mostly Tan/Fawn but some pale green.
These had patches sewn on at knees and elbows which were usually darker
green.
They wore regular infantry uniforms after D-Day.
If you search on web sites you'll find a bunch of re-enactors with loads of
colour pictures of uniforms.
Band of brothers is also worth looking at.
The 82nd "all american" mostly wore US flags upper arm and the 101st mostly
didn't.
The eagle head patch is a hell of a lot easier to paint than the AA of 82nd.
