"Apple-1 computer that would evolve into a legacy and corporate giant."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't this computer evolve into something that practically had Apple at the point of closing up shop. Then they stole (yes pick whatever verb you want depending on your viewpoint of Apple) code from other companies and that is what they really evolved from?

I heard Windows gave them a bunch of money or something because if apple went under Windows was gonna get hit in the face by monopoly and other kinds of lawsuits from the fed.

[citation][nom]jimmysmitty[/nom]And my wife wants me to trow away my collection of old CPUs. Hah. I have a Pentium and a Pentium w/MMX. No way I am ever throwin them away.[/citation]

I think the Pentium is too common to be of any value. Even the 8086, which is 3 or 4 generations earlier than the Pentium is still readily available for 15 bucks on ebay (as new old stock).

[citation][nom]christop[/nom]I wonder what I can get for my apple II?[/citation]
Not much however it depends on the model, condition, accessories and software.I wouldn't throw it away though.
Early Apple computers are sought after by vintage computer collectors.
The most valued Apple computers are of course the Apple I,Apple III (It was a defective flop by the way),Any LISA model although the first model is worth more (same price now as when new about $10,000),Macintosh XL (essentially a revamped modified LISA,Early Macintosh's (especially the first model)worth a couple of hundred dollars,Macintosh 512K or Ke's and the MacPlus (not worth much but has a collector value)
