1st PC Build

I'm new to building PC's. Is everything compatible? Could it handle 2 monitors? What would you change? I'm also getting some green led fans (color theme). My main purpose for this PC would be for gaming and maybe video editing. Thanks.

I wouldn't change anything. The GPU will handle the 2 monitors fine, but I don't know if it'll be fast enough for video editing. The RAM is very good for tasks more demanding than gaming. I don't know about the case, maybe it's better to get a mid tower, but it's less cooling. It's a good build.

Looks good, if any left in the budget, might kick the DRAM up to 1866 (CL8 or 9), Haswell loves fast DRAM and will help with video work

looks good to me. though 2 1080p monitors probably needs more gpu power then a 760... a 770, r9-280x, r9-290, or 780 would be better.

Yep - looks good. Can you get 1866 memory for the same price? Probably a 2GB 760 is OK too (and a bit cheaper). Or if you can afford it - a 770!

For gaming I would drop the CPU down to a 4670k and get a GTX 770 or 780.

If you are using OpenCL accelerated rendering software then you should go with an AMD card instead, will be much faster.

I changed my ram to Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory - $144.99. Is it better?
