1st pc built, what software?

So i finally built my 1st system. i7 8700 and a 1080 ti. its working great. hyper 212 evo was a pain in the ass to get on. so right now i just have windows 10 installed and the stuff on my old hard drive. went to boot up AC origins and said bink2w64.dll was not found. just wondering what all software i need to download to be all good to go. beside fixing that bink error.

where did you get the game from?

uplay. worked on my old pc but only reused the hard drive and not the ssd and uplay was on the ssd so im guessing downloading uplay and validating might fix it.

:| so uplay, oring and steam dont recognize the games on the HDD, opened steam and it wants me to re-download everything....

You can't just run games off an old hard drive without re-installing them. There should be instructions at least on Steam on how to move the downloaded game files to another setup without re-downloading them.

Went into steam and pointed it to the new nd it recognized all of then. Just had to make a new shortcut. . For some reason it didn't recognize it at 1st even thought it was same drive letter. Guess it just needed its "own"
