For the past 24 hours since i have set up my new computer, i have just been testing out Overclocking and im enjoying my self, being doing a lot of reading and watched a few videos on the matter, anyways here is my specs:

CPU: FX-8350 4.0ghz Overclocked to 4.5ghz
Motherboard: M5A99X EVO R2.0
GPU: VTX3D 7870 LE Black Edition
RAM: 16GB 4x4 Kingston DDR3 Dual Channel 1600mhz
Cooling: Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling system w/ 120mm Radiator ad 6 120mm fans
OS: Windows 8

So ive got it set up at 4.5ghz, ive tested it with:
Cinebench: CPU 7.73 OpenGL 77.23
3DMark11 Basic Edition: 7609
Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0 Score: 1341

Here are all my bios settings and few other screenshots: http://s129.photobucket.com/user/PipsonFM/slideshow/Overclock%204500

So for the experts:
Im running 4.5ghz at 1.4V because at the default 1.38 it simply failed CPU stress test.
This is my first overclock and bios settings are based on what i read, is there anything i could change to make it better? click on link for bios settings.

Now the real deal, advice on going towards 4.8ghz and keeping temps low??

Hello I've managed to run stable at 4.8ghz and 1.38125v I'm using AMD OVERDRIVE for the stability test, as this stops the test with out crashing the system. You can have fun overclocking I managed to get up to 5ghz and got CPU-z notification then it crashed. Good luck!

I have since been able to attain 4.715 Ghz by upping the FSB to 205, and adding backside socket cooling to keep the socket temps down. Unfortunately, this is all my chip will do stable, obviously I did not win the silicone lottery.

Hello all!

I'm currently getting a stable 4.7 at 1.35v is this normal should I go higher to prevent damage?
