Hi,
I'm quite new to PC building (as the title so says), and I'd like your opinions on the parts I've selected for an upcoming first build.
CPU: i7 4770 (+ aftermarket Arctic Cooling MX-4 Thermal Compound)
Mobo: MSI Z87-G45
RAM: 16 GB (2x8) Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3, 1600MHz
Case: Corsair 600t White Special Edition (Planning on replacing the stock fans with Cooler Master (2x) 200mm Silent MEGAFlow and (5x) 120mm SickleFlow
HDD: 2TB Western Digital BLACK, 7200 RPM, 64MB Cache
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO, 120GB
Graphics Card: ASUS (AMD 7870 2GB GDDR5)
PSU: Corsair HX850, 850 Watt with Silver Certification
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Optical Drive: Plextor PX-891SA 24x DVD Writer
OS: Windows 8 64bit
(Planning to not OC)
Budget: ~$2000
Current Expenses (including 13% tax): $1998.78 (Prices calculated from a local store, may use shipping instead)
Any particular red lights (or compatibility issues) or anything that can be replaced with a cheaper or better part?
On a side note: Does anyone know which websites ship to Canada at relatively low costs for parts like these?
