Hi Guys,

Have a new build with a 7700k cooled by a NH-D15 with currently 2 corsair AF140 fans in my Phanteks Enthoo Pro M case. I would probably get better airflow and lower temps with the Noctua fans. The question I have is would it be worth the swap? I can still return the other fans btw.
I have had some discussion about this, still unsure of the performance difference and how it would lower the temperature of my system which hits 72 degrees in bf1 and 68 degrees in Prime 95 v26.6 small fft.

Cheers.

I should have mentioned that I was not overclocking yet and want to increase the headroom for when I do in future.

Any tips for cooling ideas in the future? Currently have two front 140mm fans as high up on the case to cool the cpu and the stock rear 140mm fan that came with the case. I have set the case fans to turbo on my ASUS motherboard, didn't make much difference though.

Thanks for your replies guys, really appreciate it. Not sure if I am regretting the phanteks case for something that could have 3 front 140mm fans although, I suppose the extra fan would only cool the drives at the bottom. I imagine the airflow would be great in the case as there is very little restrictions in the interior. Not sure what specifically I could do in future.

You will have to forgive my ignorance here. I am slightly worried by the headroom I would have for overclocking in future. I understand that predicting temperature rises is not wise and the best thing to do would be to test the overclock with my system. Still seems like I would need to do more for a noticeable overclock, just have no experience to apply here.
