Hello,
I am trying to put together a decent pieces to get the most new games to run at high/ultra settings at stable fps above 40+ .
And from the benchmarks and youtube gaming reviews for the listed components i came out with best for price/money *i hope* .
First build is amd based :http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nqVHD3
I was going to choose the fx 6300 + r9 270x as my budget gone out of control now but i think it worth it for future requirements as new games coming with demanding requirements so i hope it last for at least 3 years or so.

And that is the intel build :http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WjCKgs
I wud of gone with an i3 4160 but am not sure it wud be able to run the newest games on such settings .

For now all the components for amd/intel are equally priced , not sure what is best, but i am looking for to be able to play the newest games on ultra is the best performance/price components and those are what i got convinced of .

Need your opinions if there are other options i dont know about for lesser price or equal price such as a gfx card from nvidia if its better and so, and i was wondering about the ram speed .. Doest it affect performance ?

Thank you so much .

A decent 500W, 520W, or 550W power supply would be good for any of the above systems. Without knowing prices in Egypt, I can't look around and see what is best, but I can say that any modern Seasonic (or XFX, they are the same as Seasonic) can't go wrong. Other good options are models from Corsair, Antec, and EVGA, to name a few.
i5 build will be better, here's how 8350 fares against the older 3470 i5 http://www.anandtech.com/show/6396/the-vishera-review-amd-fx8350-fx8320-fx6300-and-fx4300-tested/5. I'm not saying the 8350 is terrible, but the i5 is definitely better. 280X is a solid card to choose for 1080p, better than the 285 or the gtx 960 and has 3GB of VRAM. You won't able to max EVERY game, but you'll definitely be able to have fairly high settings overall. How much is the 280X you have listed? I have a couple of the Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM drives myself and they are good hard drives. What PSU are you going to use?

What is your exact budget?
Some of those components cannot be purchased in the us

I would go with this build 😛

Without knowing the budget, I can't help much with a build offering. I can answer your RAM question right now: No, the RAM performance does not have a large impact of games. DDR3-1600 (aka PC3 12800) with 9-9-9-24 or similar timings is the norm and it won't hurt to go up to say DDR3-1866 or DDR3-2133 with slightly higher timings, but it shouldn't be a top priority to do so. I only consider the faster RAM when the price is no more than like $5 more for an 8GB kit.

I mentioned this in another post, but that's old information. A lot of the Day 1 and early reviews did not address patches and core parking issues.

Here's a couple quick videos to show how close the 8350 and 4690k actually are in most games:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZN64tKL1e8

Some that are not well optimized for multi-core CPUs favor intel. But in well threaded games it's a dead even tie, with the 8350 even winning a few. It's so close you could go with either platform. Bear in mind, the 8350 has more PCIe lanes and scales in multi GPU setups better than the i5.

My budget is around 730 dollars .. Bear in my mind that prices here in egypt is way diffrent than US for an example the fx are equal to all i cores while i's supposed to be higher but this is how it goes here .

The gtx 970 is two thirds my budget so its an off to me .. The top i could afford is the 280x or r9 290 .

Anyway i think i'll have to go lower with one of the components as my budget could't afford all of'em after i rechecked the prices i found that the cpu + gfx + mobo are leaving no breather for the rest so i was thinking if maybe i could go with the i3 instead or switch to amd at near price to i3 near performance to i5 if available .

ANd the power supply i still dont know which to buy am not sure about about how many watts i need and the quality of entry level products available .

The r9 280x costs around 314 $
I5 4460 190 $
Asrock fatality killer/performance 124 $
2tb seagate 85 $
2x4gb kingston fury white 85 $

Fx 6300 124 $
Fx 8350 196 $
Asrock/msi 970 124 $
