So, if i have a graphic card onboard and a AGP Graphic card, could i use them together and can i have 2 monitors on this PC?

Maybe. Most motherboards will automatically disable the on-board video as soon as it detects a card in the AGP slot. Some motherboards won't.

yes he says, no he says.

Depends I say. If the on board video is AGP, then no you won't be able to use an AGP card as a 2nd video card. When you put it in, the onboard one will shut off. If you are REALLY unlucky, putting in a PCI card will do the same. The real solution is to use your AGP card, buy a cheapo ($50) PCI video card and use the two of em (ignoring your on board).

True, true. That's the most correct answer.

AMD technology + Intel technology = Intel/AMD Pentathlon IV; the ULTIMATE PC processor

If you're asking about the nForce, then no you can't.

You can also buy the ATI Radieon 7500, 8500, or VE to get mulitple monitor output on one card.

If it works for you then don't fix it.

on my friends old AMD K6-2 board we used a voodoo 3 200 PCI and his onboard at the same time. I told him to plug in a crappy monitor that he had sitting around, and he just about crapped his pants when both screens started working. He had no idea computers could support two monitors and not require some super expensive setup.

lol ... ok i tryed it and i could not use the 2nd graphic card ... i guess my motherboard doesnt accept the 2nd one.
But that doesnt matters cause i have a ATI Radeon VE ;-)
