i have two 2 TB HDD that I want to clone/copy on one 4Tb HDD . Like 2 partitions into 1. There is no OS just data. How would I do that the most easy way with tutorial? Using Win 7.

So now it's back to Macrium; this is like a ping-pong game.
Anyway, here are some instructions for cloning the contents of the "second" 2 TB HDD to the second partition on the 4 TB destination drive...

1. Open the Macrium screen

2. Click on the 2 TB source drive that contains the data contents you want cloned to the appropriate partition on the 4 TB destination drive so that the schematic of the source disk will be outlined; then click "Clone this disk" just below the schematic.

3. A window will open showing the "Source" drive as the disk selected to clone.

4. Click "Select a disk to clone to..."

5. A smaller window will open showing the potential destination drives, i.e., your boot drive on which you installed the Macrium program...

Thanks for the answer.

It's just backup. So Macrium Reflect Free can also merge the 2 partitions into 1? I will look at it.

MR can make one file with .mrimg extension of all partitions/disks you tell it to. As long as MR is installed in OS it can mount that file and will show as a virtual disk. You can chose if files are read only or could be changed/deleted/added. Payed version can automatically do differential updates to the backup disk.
File with .mrimg extension also is somewhat smaller, typically 75 - 80% size of apparent size on source disk.

I don't want an image file. Doesn't come in handy for me.

So Fastcopy seems good. Is it safe? I mean the Data integrity. Isn't cloning more convenient?

And can I copy the complete drive at once with Fastcopy? I looked at it and seems like I can only choose the folders.

The Macrium imaging is actually more useful than you might think.
Within the Macrium client, you can open an Image just as if it were a folder or drive.

But, you have to define what you actually want to do with this situation.

Routine backups?
Replace a dying drive?
Or something else?

There are several tools available, but it all depends on exactly what you want this for.

So, what is it?

OK then.

Macrium Reflect, or Casper, or any of another Imaging tools will do exactly this.

You can set Macrium to do a full image of each partition, off to a different drive.
Easily accessible or recoverable.

I have all my systems in the house set to do exactly this.
My main system does a full Image, and then 14 days of incremental images. Then all rolled into a Full image, and is starts over again.

Once you get it set up, it's pretty easy and seamless.

Here is what I did. I cloned 1 HDD. Now my new 4 GB HDD shows 1 partition with 2GB cloned data. But when I want to clone the other 1 Macrium wants to overwrite the cloned data of the first HDD. How do I get this right?

A "clone" is probably NOT what you want to do.

Show us a screencap of your current Disk Management window.
You probably just have to create a New Volume in the other space on that drive.

But a pic will show us what is going on.

Also, please describe exactly which drives you are wanting to 'clone'.
The C drive? Secondary drives...what, exactly?

I'm still not convinced that the Macrium 'clone' function is what you want to do, though.

Since you'll be either cloning or imaging, I recommend naming each of your created partitions unique names. For example I called mine S03174C and S03174D so that regardless of what's booted, regardless of drive letter shuffleboarding, I know exactly what partition will be affected.

Ok heres the pic of Discmanager:

Somehow there are two allocated spaces. Don't know how to merge since only in the Discmanager it appears like this. When I try Easeus partition manager only shows 1 allocated space.

I'll keep the disc renaming in mind and change it afterwards

1. First of all, the disk-space you refer to as "allocated" is actually "unallocated" disk-space. Capiche?

2. You've apparently been successful in cloning the contents of ONE of your 2 TB drives to the 4 TB destination drive using the EaseUS Todo program.

3. So now are you planning to clone the contents of your other drive - the 2 TB "THREE" drive to the 4 TB HDD, or have you given up on that?

4. And if so, is your ultimate objective to merge the two partitions on the 4 TB drive, or would you just plan to have two separate partitions on that drive?

1.Yes capiche. I meant unallocated. Sorry.

2. Successfully cloned 1 drive. Correct.

3. No I have given. Was just dealing with wrong partition table. Will do this today.

4. Merging the 2 partition is what I want to have if possible.

1,Good, you're nearly home. It would probably be best if you would use a third-party partition management program, e.g., MiniTool Partition Wizard (or one that you may be otherwise familiar with) to merge the two resulting partitions into a single partition.

2. Two caveats...
A. Do not make any changes to either one your present two 2 TB HDDs until you're assured the merging operation was successful. You want a "fall-back" position in the event the merging operation fails.

B. Since the merge of the two partitions will result in a single partition having its own drive letter assignment, it's possible that certain programs/applications contained on the single partition will not be able to be accessed by the boot drive. Possibly a simple change in drive letter assignment may resolve this issue or you may have to even reinstall the program.

Ok thanks . Now that I want to use Macrium to clone the second drive. It always says that the other partition is going to be overwritten. I changed driveletters but didn't have the any effect. How do I clone one the other volume?

You should be able to tell it with individual partition is to be the target.
Specifically, deselect the other partition when you do this.

(still not a fan of "cloning" for this particular process. Images would work better, and actually work)
