Solution Emerald Jun 13, 2015 I most cases the problem is that they are getting to hot and disconnect. I know that's what happened to two different Motorola models my clients had. I always prefer a separate modem and router since they run cooler and it is easier to troubleshoot when you have network problems. I use Motorola SB6121 and SB6141 modem at my house and my client's locations.
