I have 2 routers on my network. 1 wireless linksys, and a wired linksys. I know the IP address to the wireless (192.168.1.1) but I can't figure out what the ip address is set to for the regular wired router. (to get into the web interface)..

Anybody know how to figure this out?

Thanks

unless you changed it its the same. if you have changed it, then you need to reset the router to factory default. While its on, hold the reset button for about 30 seconds to do so.

And please don't tell me you are trying to do this while connected to both at the same time

Hmm, some use 192.168.2.1

Could try plugging only into that router, unplugging everything else from it except your machine, and then open a dos prompt, which you go to start, run, and type cmd

run that, and then give it the command

ipconfig /all

that should give you some info about your setup, if it tells you what your gateway is, that should be your router's ip.

You may need to plug into your internet with the router as well, but this method should still help.

I know you already got your answer, but I thought I would add something for those that are looking here. If you know the IP for one of the routers, you should be able to login to that router and find a list of connected devices. It will depend on the router brand as to where this is, but usually it will list out all devices connected to it and how they are connected (wireless or Ethernet). It will also often list out the name name of the device connecedt. If no name is listed, it could be your router. Then you just have to start trying IP addresses.
