Hi

I have 2 log files created over and over again in Windows temp folder:

1. aria-debug-xxxx.log xxxx changes between files. The content is either empty or includes one line:
Logging inited C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\aria-debug-12272.log 1

I read it might be related to OneDrive but OneDrive is not running on my computer, Not sure if it's even installed (I don't see it in add or remove programs).

2. DESKTOP-K0H9K1I-20191214-1547.log (date/time changes between files).

This file has weight and the content is like the following:
Timestamp Process TID Area Category EventID Level Message Correlation

I read it might be related to Office logging. I do have Office 2016 but I couldn't find any enableLogging in the regedit as the post explained to do.

What can I do to get rid of them?
Thanks

aria-debug-xxxx.log does not. The other one does.

Why should I ignore them? Something triggers them and I want to know what it is.
Just like HUNDREDS of other "temporary" files, unless they cause problems there is no reason to obsess. If the one file grows to 100s MB size, then it is a problem.

It definitely does look like an Office 2016 log based on others on the web.

Is this the registry mod you tried -- https://winaero.com/blog/how-to-disable-telemetry-and-data-collection-in-windows-10/

The other file (not aria) takes 100sK each but there are a lot of those files and they are created frequently. Also the aria file is created frequently.

You wrote office telemetry collection but your link leads to Windows telemetry and I prefer not to deal with many of the things (services for example) that are there. This is the link I saw before but I don't have the regedit entry they say to change: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...locatemp/6fe73dae-0d3a-403b-93a5-3220424b71a0
