1st PC: This computer's motherboard has been overheating recently. I mean like 150-170 degrees Fahrenheit. That's not good at all. I took it apart, cleaned the fans, replaced the thermal paste, and had a box fan blowing inside of it. The motherboard was still showing crazy temperatures. My friends said another thing it could be is a faulty program that I was using to check temp. I was using Speccy and it wasn't wrong. My PC started lagging when I was only using one program. They also said it could be the sensor I think or something like that. So, I'm guessing that senses the temps. But if I'm correct about what the sensor does, it's not wrong either. So, could my motherboard just be anus? Also, is there anything I could do to fix it before I have to buy a $150 motherboard for it?

2nd PC: With the fallout of my recent PC, I am trying to use this old one. This PC stopped sending video signals about 3 or 4 years ago, however, it still runs. So, I tried to send video via VGA and it failed. Then, I tried with HDMI, also failed. However, the monitor works, because I was just using it on my overheated PC. I'm laughing while typing this. (Trying to hide tears of boredom.

I can't post a pic, because I don't want to risk damaging anything by using the PC. I use the program called "Speccy" to see my statistics and specs. It shows me that the temperature of the motherboard is between 150 and 170 degrees. The reason for such a large difference in the two temperatures is because just running Speccy, it is about 156. When I start another program, it can jump up to 163. Sometimes it even got over 170 degrees Fahrenheit.
