Hi Guys,
as mentioned in my title, at the moment I have 2 routers, 1 ASUS RT-N56U; as the main router, and another Asus RT-N12HP as a secondary router for my room; as I have 2 desktops.
So now, before setting up my second router, I already have the first router; Asus RT-N56U as the main router/modem installed about a week or so, and my ping is usually 5-20; in CS:GO that is. I am from Malaysia, and currently running on a fiber optic speed of 30mbps. All of my downloads streaming etc are fine.
Then I installed my new router, the RT-N12HP, without setting it as a access point or repeater, it worked just fine, so I thought to leave it as it is, as I have internet connection etc. But then I noticed that my ping started to go up pretty high up, now for the past 2weeks and a half, its been 40-60 at constant. Never below 40.
Question: Is it the router setting that is causing this? I forgot to mention that my sister is also having this issue, she is using a LAN directly from the RT-N56U modem.
Or is it my ISP the one I should contact to clarify this issue?
Thanks in advance and cheers guys! 😀
