For 2 years eveer since i built my PC, ive had problems, mainly playing games, BSOD, stutters, crashing, tho i have rectified most of the problems, dont really get any BSOD anymore etc, but it seems that whenever i play games, i get about 5-20 minute play time and then it will just freeze and hit desktop, some games get critical error pop up depending on which game, some games it has no error pop up, i've done everything you could possibly think of to fix this <MOD EDIT profanity removed> mess, ive rolled back to numerous drivers, ive installed fresh versions of windows multiple times, my HDD and SDD are in good health using CrystalDisk etc, i've ran MemTest for over 18 hours no errors, i have the latest Bios regarding the technology that my computer has, latest windows update, latest GPU driver, ive gone into the Bios to change the PCIe from Gen 4 to Gen 3, problem is still there, I can go all day listing the things ive tried, this is taxing.

OS: Windows 10 Home
GPU: 5700xt
CPU: 3700x
MO: x570 Gigabyte Auros
RAM: Corsair Veng LPX 32Gb 2x16GB DDR4-3200
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
SSD: 2x Samsung 860 Evo 1TB
M.2: WD Black 500gb
PSU: Corsair RMx 750w

Like I said most of the problems that this computer has had since day 1 has been fixed overtime, but still currently when i try to play most games i own, i.e Warzone, Dota 2, World fo Warships, Tanks etc it will perform, good temps, good usage via task manager and then it will just hit desktop most time no error pop up, like today im keeping keen eye while i test the situation on warzone, everything looking great, then the GPU usage will just decide to hit 0% when the game will just freeze, the computer is still running perfectly fine i can use my mouse on other tab while this happens but the game is locked, ive looked all over online and i cant seem to find people will similar problem, there was i time during the 2 years where this problem didnt exist for a few months tbf but then it just came back again, where i coudl play any game anytime no problem, but yeah, now if i play warzone for instance it would just freeze and hit desktop, plz help.

Bios version: F36
Driver: AMD 22.3.1

X.M.P is also off, for some reasion ive always had trouble with it on.

Application errors consist of, Battle net, AMD software, Dota 2, hell.....even my browser, i woke up like an hour ago, tried to play warzone, checked event viewer and these application errors are all game and browser related

Did you do a memtest or reinstall graphics drivers with DDU? The reason I mentioned DDU again is because you said you owned a 980 ti in the past. Was it ever installed along with the drivers on this PC? When you originally built the PC did you do a clean install of windows on it, or did you transfer drives from a previous build?

Ive done DDU a few times with the current GPU, so ive already done that, and ive already ran MemTest for over 18 hours numerous passes, no errors, but ive seen posts on multiple websites where people have had it run over 24 hours and it turned out the RAM is still faulty, but yeah ive already done what you've recommended.

tdr errors are the most common ones I see for AMD drivers. At one stage I could guess the gpu was an AMD based on the error.

Memtest isn't perfect, I have seen people swap ram and fix problems even though memtest passed ram. So its possible. Its why I also suggested Prime as it also checks ram.

Question is are these application errors caused by the RAM? Im starting to think they are, and considering your opinion on the RAM wasnt the best, and the fact that ive had this RAM from day 1, maybe a cheeky 150-200 dollar new RAM could suffice, im on the x570 RAM support page now mkaing sure that the new RAM is compataible.

Microsoft seem to suggest BEX can be caused by
several factors such as default driver, incompatible applications, hardware defect or memory issue.

last 2 seem likely if its all games and happens over a few installs.

one fix suggested was GPU drivers, I had to laugh.
other is a clean boot. It would only help if we thought it was a start up program. I don't think so.

They always say GPU fresh driver install like we've never thought of that lmao, my programs now only exist when trying to play triple A games and some "double A" games, the GPU drivers are now 2 years deep so im starting to think the GPU is no longer the problem, when the GPU first came out even tinkering with the GPU fan curve would cause problems, now i cacn tinker with however i want, I can undervolt, overclock etc, im starting to now think 100% its the RAM, so im looking up some RAM now.

And yes its that link you sent me, due to my Ryzen 3700x im using the memory suuport list for Matisse CPU

looks familiar, different model to what I have but I do know they released newer ones since.

Vengeance Pro and the Dominator Platinum were the original RGB RAM options.
Then came the revisions. Vengeance Pro SL is the newer shorter modules. RS and RT are a revised design with diffused light bars but a sleeker heat spreader. They are shorted than either Dominator or V-Pro modules. The RS is the more budget conscious choice. The RT is higher frequency kits.

hope it is ram.

you asked that yesterday

well, you have 32gb of ram so it depends how much ram you use. If you hardly ever use any of it, you might not have a really big one
I have 32gb but My page file is 5gb as its set to auto
Total paging file for all drives is 2048mb, i have 32gb....is that normal....

if you never use all your ram, you not likely to use page file. SO if windows has set it to 2gb, leave it. Windows will make it bigger if it needs it.
