monitor is 2 ms respnonse time so that is good
wasn t impressed with the speaker system choices @ (cp pc)so skipped those

It helps to keep you from frying your mobo (static electricity). Although if you keep a body part on the case such as your hand when your doing your build that works also. But for less than $4 it's handy.

It all comes down to how many GPU's will you be using.....

And it is not an extra coupe hundred between both, the only difference is the 70$ for the CPU and 40$ for the extra stick of ram..... =)

If you have the money get the 1366, if not then you still win cause the 1156 is a hell of a platform......There are 1366 mobos in the same price-range as the 1156 =)

The 1156 won't get the new GulfTown Hex-Core i9 processor Q2 2010.
The 1156 is much better for SINGLE GPU setups due to its on-die PCI-e 2.0 controller while it won't stand new high-end GPUs in SLI or CrossFireX
Intel Released 2 Socket types for different reasons one of them i know is to force the customers to choose one of them for ONLY ONE feature, For example the 1366 is for multi-GPU while the 1156 is for energy saving (Unique Features) So if you went with the lower-end one and wanted more sometime you'll have to switch to the other platform.

I think both are superb no matter what... if you are extremely sure that you will need/use the extra features on the 1366 then go ahead..... The 1156 holds it own in the GAMING dept.... Once the next gen cards drop, I bet the P55 and a 5870 will obliterate anything in it's path... Specially when you start bumping up the clock to 3.5Ghz and beyond.... So tempting I started to save up like a month ago and almost positive that soon i will have a new toy to play with.....

Well it looks like ATI don't want to beat nVidia I thought they learned their fault (AMD).
And if they want to get a good share of the market before nVidia launches GT300 they better lower the prices some like:
