[SOLVED] 2070 or 2060 Super?

Hi all,

At the same price, I can either get a Gigabyte Gaming OC 2070 or a Gigabyte Gaming OC 2060 Super.

Thermals are important as I'm building in an ITX NZXT H200 case.

Get the RTX 2060 SUPER model/SKU. This is based on a refined chip, and it should also perform better than any non-SUPER Model.

Get the 2070, its slightly better. In terms of temperatures, both of them get 60-70 Cº when runing games like "Shadow of the Tomb Raider "

PS: you can google some benchmarks, that way you will know wich one is better, or you can go to "userbechmark" to compare them.

Is this factual? Chipwise 2070 has 2304 cuda cores vs 2176 in the 2060 Super. And at first glance seems to get slightly better gaming benchmarks

Appreciate that response. I def could see sllllightly better benchmarks in the 2070, was wondering if I'm missing out on anything on the Super iteration vs non super.

Yes, the SUPER model is having slightly less CUDA CORES. But the TMU and ROP count has been increased, from 120/48 to 136/64.

Yes indeed, but I was talking about ROP/TMU count on the non-SUPER RTX 2060 GPU, when you compare it to the RTX 2060 SUPER.....

2070 with 144/64
2060 super with 136/48
Real world results prob small, but an advantage non-the-less when also considering cuda cores!
