212 evo rattle

My hyper 212 evo makes a very slight rattling noise no matter what speed it is at. If I press down the fan to slow it then the rattling seems to stop. It makes this noise even when it is not attached to the metal heatsink. I don't know if this is normal fan behaviour or just my OCD.

just buy a new fan, i had a hyper 212 evo and the fan went bad. It started off like your describing and just got louder from that point.
