2133mhz Ram and Asus Z97-A

Hey,

After 2 years I finally noticed that my ram was only running at 1333mhz, moreover that it was only running on a single channel (Don't ask me how I haven't seen this, I really don't know). I moved the ram over a slot and have it running at dual channel now. The clock speed is still 1333mhz. My question is do i need to overclock or apply an XMP profile to boost it up to 2133mhz clock speed?

Mobo: Asus Z97-A
PSU: Corsair RM750

Yes, it will run at default SPD timings unless you enable one of the other Profiles. You may have more then one XMP profile for that matter.
