Hi! Im thinking of buying a 240hz monitor, and i was wondering if i connect it to a laptop that has a screen with 144hz, will the monitor still run on 240hz or 144hz?

Then it’s very possible 1080p or 1440p 240Hz is supported. Check the laptop user manual, hopefully it gives a list of typical resolutions and supported Hz.
