Hey guys, I've seen many monitors but I really liked the LG 25UM57-P, however it is 25 inches and I want to play on 1920 x 1080p. (mostly/exclusively for gaming) Is this resolution bad for a monitor of this size, or will it run smoothly? (note: I've read a lot good reviews about this item and I'm really interested now) Thank you.

Walk into a computer store, and look around. See what sizes you like best, and then go with what you liked best that you can afford. It is all personal preference. What I like you might hate. Or you might love it. So you really need to see them in action in person, and make up your mind that way.
Physical size of the monitor is a personal preference. The resolution of a 21", 25", 27" or a 31" changes nothing on the computer at all. It is simply a change of the display. If you get a monitor that has an IPS panel, you probably would be thrilled with any of them. But some people like just one of the four sizes. For me, the larger you go, the easier it is to normally read the text but the more you have to look around due to the larger screen, so I have settled most of the time over the years on a 27" display. Right now, I have a 29", 21:9 format (ultra-wide) monitor, but I wish I had the 34" version of this monitor. But the 34" versions did not yet exist when I bought this one last year.

nah, 27 inches are way too big, and by performance I meant image. Is it going to be blurrier than it would be on a 24 inches montor? Also is the difference going to be noticeable?

That is the smaller version of what I have. I have the 29", you are looking at the 25", and then there is the 34" version I mentioned earlier. I absolutely love the wideness of these 21:9 monitors. But the wideness affects things like full screen movies since those almost always are in 1920x1080 only. And that means that your 25" monitor in that case would function similar to a 21" or 22" monitor, and my 29" functions like a 25", and the 34" model acts a lot like a a 29" monitor when at full screen with 1920x1080 resolution.

Despite that, for everything else I do with this thing, which uses 2560x1080, it is just phenomenal. There is nothing like popping open a document next to a spreadsheet, and grabbing a piece of the spreadsheet and dropping it right into your document. Or literally putting 2 web pages side by side to compare things. And the colors on these IPS panels are absolutely awesome.

So the best I can tell you is think about the size. Any of the 3 will be good for you. I have had mine since May of last year, and I would buy another one of these without any hesitation. Mine is an AOC brand, but otherwise the same as the 3 LG models.

the 27 inches is 80 euros more expensive. Will my gaming experience be good or should I go for a 24 inch with 1ms? How is your gaming experience with that monitor? (I want to play games on 1920x1080p.)
