Hello,

I have a somewhat good micro atx build that I use to game on a 1650x1050 monitor.

I5-750
Asus Maximus III Gene
4GB Ripjaws 1600 Mhz
XFX 5850 Black ed (OC)
Seasonic X-650 ( should be ok for crossfire )
Antec mini P180

So I'll have around 250-300$ to put on an upgrade and I've been wondering what would be the best upgrade.

For 300$, I could buy a pretty decent 120-128GB SSD, buy another 5850 or put 100$ on 4Gb ram and 200$ on a smaller SSD, etc..

The main games I play recently are Left 4 Dead, Dragon Age and some Starcraft 2. The next game I'm planning to buy are Civilization 5 and I will certainly play Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3, SWTOR when they release in the next years.

So, what would be the best upgrade you think?

I'm more interested by the SSD right now because I don't feel limited by the single 5850 and it would make a performance difference in all the apps ( some MS Office, Adobe Lightroom, etc )

Thanks for sharing the ideas!

Frank

You can postpone the GPU upgrade later. A single HD5850 can handle almost everything on that resolution for todays games.
An SSD is definitely the best upgrade path.
G.SKill Phoenix pro, Crucial C300, and OCZ Vertex 2 are the best ones available.
