Hello everyone, is it fine for me to pair a 2666mhz stock frequency ram to my other ram stick which is actually oc'd to 2666mhz?

Solution
Yes, both of them are the same brands of ram.

That doesn't matter. They are from a different kit. They could be identical kits, bought at the same time, from the same peg, on the same shelf, in the same store, pulled one right after the other, but they are 2 different packages, so are 2 different kits. Wouldn't make a difference if they were totally different brands, that's just a paint job on a heatsink, got nothing to do with what's under that heatsink.

There's only 1 Guarantee when mixing kits, There are NO guarantees. Period. It's totally pot-luck. They'll either work, work with some adjustments, or not work at all.
