Question 27" 1440p Costco Monitor Recommendations

Costco has these monitors for sale and I would prefer buying from Costco especiially for their insane warranty / customer service.

1.) MSI G274QPF - $150

2.) MSI G271CQR - $160

3.) ACER XZ272U - $200

4.) LG 27GR75Q-B.AUS - $250

Thanks for the help. R9 5900x, 32gb ram, XFX Radeon 7900 XTX for my pc specs. Uprading from a HP 25" 1080p IPS monitor.

From a purely gaming standpoint, the MSI Optix G271CQR is the best choice out of the four. It gets surprisingly bight in SDR, reaching nearly 400 nits, which comes in handy when gaming in bright rooms. It features better response times and lower input lag then the rest on the list, which will provide you with a smoother gaming experience when fast moving objects appear on screen. Its largest weakness is its horrible uniformity with blacks. If you're watching a movie with many dark scenes, it is noticeable and can take you out of the film. However, like I previously mentioned, if you intent to game, then that will not be a significant drawback.


If you rarely play competitive games and prefer a display oriented for content consumption, the LG's better color accuracy, HDR certification, and better black uniformity may be more appealing to you.
