280X GPU usage 60-69% in GTA normal?

I am playing GTA 5 at max settings and I get around 48-60 FPS but my GPU usage is around 60%,When I play Skyrim 2K + ENBs my GPU usage is 100%. Is this normal?

My Specs:
GPU: Sapphire R9 280x Dual X
CPU: FX 8350
RAM: 4GB Vengence 1600MHz

I don't believe you :O No way that card can max out GTA V at any fps, there is an artificial limiter in the settings menu for Vram. I have mine ALMOST maxed and it eats up 3.6 gigs of Vram.

As far as usage goes, make sure all the drivers are up to date. I think AMD released drivers specifically for GTA V, try those if you haven't yet.

I have everything maxed (Without MSAA) and it uses 2.4GB of VRAM. Also my FPS averages about 50FPS, I'll reinstall my GPU drivers and I'll see what happens

Oh I've seen on another thread that when Vsynch is enabled it only draws as much power as it needs to

Not at 1080p it doesn't, are you using a lower resolution? Textures alone maxed will eat 2.5 of vram at 1080.

I was wrong, without MSAA it uses 3.4 gigs, which is still more than your GPU has. If you found some way around the Vram limiter in the settings lemme know lol.

Ah, I bet you don't have the Advanced options cranked up. That's where the difference lies, those are very taxing.
