[citation][nom]rantoc[/nom]Loved Borderlands, it was however a bit to easy. Should have been able to set difficulty levels in it both single/multiplayer.[/citation]

The game automatically would be harder when you were playing with other people online. Also, you found better loot.

Really looking forward to this one!!!!

WISHLIST FOR BORDERLANDS 2:

- Huge open world area perhaps 10 times the size of a usual mission area for PVP that holds atleast 20 players or more.

-Extra large raid missions, 10 - 20 players for the good stuff.

-More equipment types, armor type stuff, more gadgets etc etc...

-flying flying vehicles

-customized character creation

-More levels 70 atleast, more environments and more missions. ( more content )

for the record I don't play mmorpgs, i just think the above would make for a much better borderlands, on top of the already great game.

:)

[citation][nom]redgarl[/nom]Another boring mindless FPS. The game industry has fallen low... where is the creativity anymore?[/citation]
Totally right, what we need is another 2D scrolling platform game
Or another Final Fantasy
Or another Need For Speed
Or Fifa
Or Madden
...
If you have any other ideas send them in

I am really looking forward to Borderlands 2!!! I really enjoyed the first one a LOT. It was one of the only good console ports for the PC. I HATE console ports to PC but this one was done well enough that I really did not mind at all.

[citation][nom]WannaTurnUpTheHeat[/nom]You haven't actually played Borderlands, have you? Not saying it's not mindless -- it is, in a Diablo 2 lootfest kind of way -- but your statement sounds like it's implying that Borderlands should be lumped in with you vs. an army FPSs like... every other one. While its execution was certainly lacking, Borderlands was able to open up the FPS genre in a way that other games refuse to do -- while some games have either had pseudo-RPG things tacked on (the only example I can think of is CoD multiplayer with its perks) or were SO RPG as to not be shooters anymore (Fallout 3), Borderlands really was like playing Diablo 2 in the first person. With guns.I really hope they can improve the endgame and/or story on BL2, and it's an almost guaranteed buy for me.[/citation]

*sighs* you obviously lack any understanding of fallout's history IT WAS NEVER A SHOOTER , fallout 1 and 2 were top down RPG's so it is the worse example for a game that's "SO RPG as to not be shooters anymore" you say "any more" like the original fallout games were shooters , WHICH THEY WERE NOT Fallout series is NOT a shooter series it IS an RPG series.

sorry to get so hung on this just getting tired of every noob idiot calling Fo3 and FO:NV shooters when they aren't.

Funny thing is, Fallout is in a First-Person perspective and you can shoot people.

They really should call all of them FPG "First Person Game" and they sub-divide into Role Play or Shooter.

And as far a KOTOR goes, would that be a TPRPG "Third Person Role Play Game", if you can switch in game between first and third person perspective does it just become a shooter?

Anyway, Rainman rant over, I reckon I should put in a few hours on WoW, you know, that MMOFPS :)

Wow, you have terrible reading comprehension.

What I was saying is that Fallout 3 is a shooter, but compared to other shooters it is more of an RPG then "bang bang shoot all the bad guys". I never brought in the precedence of Fallout 1 and 2. What I was saying that classifying FO3 as a shooter is a mistake, because it doesn't PLAY like a traditional run-and-gun (or take-cover-and-gun) shooter.
