Putting my second build together, got the main components sorted but could use advice/suggestions about the case. Use for the system will be primarily gaming, not looking to overclock straight away but I'd like it as an option for later. Not watercooling.

I am primarily prioritising air cooling ability. I have had a look around myself and have a shortlist of sorts based off reviews including temperature tests.

Silverstone: PM01-RGB
Corsair: Air 540, 570X, 270R, 600C
Phanteks: Enthoo Pro M, Enthoo Evolv ATX
NZXT: 450 ROG
(List in order of general preference)

I'm leaning towards Silverstone PM01-RGB as that was the first case I settled on before really looking into other cases. Corsair Air 540 is an interesting choice due to its configuration. Not sure on the 450 ROG aesthetics but it seems to perform well with air cooling. The rest are tied with the Corsair Air 540.

Please consider be quiet! cases.

Either the SilentBase 800 (I LOVE MINE!) or 600 are great.

Most be quiet! cases come with black, silver or orange trim.

The DarkBase Pro 900 is excellent and they just came out with the 700. Those are very big expensive top of the line cases.

The PureBase cases are their cheap ones. Not bad, but no frills.

Not only is my case made in Germany and solid as a Mercedes tank, the included SilentWings fans are exceptional.

Thing about be quiet! cases is they don't seem to be targetted at air cooling or at least not as good given the focus on silence, at least that's my perception of them being all closed off and every thing.

I don't know about that.

When I got it I thought I was going to need to open more holes it in. Even with all the fans being covered it works very well with with air cooling. That's what happens when a company has German engineers designing their cases.
Right now I am at 33C on the CPU up to 65C max, and 36 on the GPU up to 65 Max.

Hmm. I'm down to the PM-01 RGB, Enthoo Evolv ATX and the Dark Base Pro 900. I'll come to a decision once one or two more pay cheques come in. Christmas might be killer to the wallet.

Thanks for the advice and suggestion. If anyone else has any more feel free to add.
