I was not sure if I should put this under windows 10 or GPU but since it started about 3 or 4 days after updating I figured I would start here. My second monitor has a weird almost haze look to it the fonts are slightly out of focus and it looks like a fog on certain applications, websites etc. I have tried changing clear type, different size fonts, uninstalling and reinstalling the GPU drivers, I even tried a system file checker repair (sfc), and no luck. Has anyone else had this problems or have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any info, there is always great people willing to help on the Tom's forum. P.S. its a ATI 7870 if that helps. Below are two pictures but they do not show it very well, one is of my main monitor and one of the second.

haha well it is YOUR post and it is a LEGIT update so no sweat.

yea sounded like it was probably a monitor issue. I know i just replaced my graphics card in my Desktop. Had a GTX 480. Well the monitor i had got i had fixed. Before when you first turn it on it takes about 3 minutes before the picture goes from fuzzy to sharp and it was because some of the capacitors where bad in which i replaced and then it looked great again. Then noticed right before my 480 took a dump that that second screen was getting fuzzy again.

once i tossed the 960 in it looks sharper than it ever did.

This is why sometimes it is hard to determine what is going on. Like my laptop is fine now looks nice and sharp.
Both pictures look the same to me, but i have experience what you are saying with my laptop. I have a Dell Studio XPS 1640. Core 2 Duo, 8GB Ram, AMD 4670 1GB Radeon Mobility and with Windows 10 all the words and everything are a bit blurred, or i should say it looks more like someone wrote with a sharpie, very hard, on regular paper, and it looks as if the ink has bled out a bit vs a nice sharp line almost. This is what you are experienceing?

Ya lol I was laughing about those pictures after I put them up, it does not show it, I am going to try and catch an example soon. I think I have figured it out though. My main monitor is a 42 inch LCD and my second is a little 22. The 42 is also my the same one I use for my Xbox One etc....So when I am playing the Xbox One I usually not only change the smaller one to my main screen I just go ahead and tell windows to only display on monitor 2. The way Windows 10 does font control I think when I turn back on the bigger monitor and make that my main again It causes it to not read the correct sizes, cleartype or (and) font settings. That is just my guess though .

yes its really odd, randomly I just replaced the main LCD with a 42 inch samsung and now everything seems fine!!! go figure
