Hello everybody. Here is the issue: im using MSI H55M-ED55 Mobo, i3 540 CPU, Wintec 4Gb(2x2Gb) ddr3 1333, GTS 250 and win 7 x64. In system properties it shows that only 3.87Gb of my memory is usable. Here is the question im using dedicated Videocard and 64 bit operating system why all 4gb of memory are not usable, i assume onboard graphics reserves part of 4Gb ram, but main VGA set to PCI-E, not to onboard. Is it specifics of h55/57 chipset, or smth is wrong?

Are you really missing the .13gb of ram?

well thats what it looks like

is there anyone using h55/57 boards with dedicated graphics? Is it common for all h55/57 boards?

Its not right, i feel like someone stole 137Mb of happiness from me. :non: In fact ive contacted intel to find out if this behavior is normal for h55/57 chipsets in general and they said its not. If i dont use onboard video it should not reserve any ram.

Yea, im kinda leaning towards bios issue. By the way each ram stick when installed by itself reads as fully usable but together they show up as 4 Gb installed / 3.87 Gb usable.
