From my understanding, the more power the better. If power supplies work most efficiently at 50%, wouldn't it make sense to buy extra power and gold/platinum?
Trying to save the most in electrical costs as this system should be running all year round with minimal downtime.

So 2 750w? 1 850w? 1 1000w?
Essentially I currently have 2 bronze 750w, a new gold 850w. If I spend ~$1/day in electricity per card, would I benefit from a 850w gold? Or saving the MOST over time would be a 1000w platinum 80+ certified power supply?
