I have an ASUS B150 pro gaming motherboard (LGA 1151) and an NZXT Guardian case. The case has 3 4 pin fans but the motherboard has 3 pin fan headers. Are there any adapters i can buy that will solve my problem.
I know i wont be able to control the speed but its not really anythibg im looking for. Thanks.

Solution
Yes 4 pin fan and molex are totally different connectors.
molex

4 pin fan connector

If they are molex you can connect them directly to your power supply wires or the adaptor you posted will work as long as they are not high amp fans.

You do not need adapters. Plug the 4 pin connector on to the motherboard 3 pin fan headers.
The 4 pin connector has a line up key on the face of it . It will only fit (unless FORCED) one way.
My M5A97 controls 3 and 4 pin fans on three pin motherboard headers. Yours might also.
PWM- 4 pin is more efficient power wise, but Voltage Regulation-3 pin still works well when implemented.

I am sorry for the typo i made earlier, but my fans have a molex adapter and i tried to connect my fans onto the motherboard but it felt like the fan connector was just resting on top of the motherboard header, i am not sure if it is supposed to be this way or 4 pin and molex are two different things
