Well in that case, either card would be a pretty big upgrade, but I'd go for a 3060 over the 3050 since prices are dropping and the 3060 will be similar in price to the 6600, but is usually faster and DLSS is honestly going to be a better feature than FSR 2.0, if playing at 1080p or 1440p. You could keep waiting for RTX 40 and RX 70 series to release and get either a cheaper 30 series card or a new series card.I meant to type 1060, my bad
If you're upgrading from a GTX 1080, the minimum GPU you should consider is a RX 6700 XT or RTX 3060 TI / RTX 3070. Neither the RTX 3050 or RX 6600/6600 XT would be an upgrade and are more of a side-grade to a GTX 1080.So i'm looking to get a RTX 3050 or a AMD 6600. I currently have a B450 Tomahawk Max mobo, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 16gb RAM, and a 750W power supply. Which would perform better? Or what would have better improvements from a RTX 1080?
